RUSSELL HATTEN: Trucking accidents are quite a bit different than your typical motor vehicle accident. Primarily because the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has regulations. And those regulations are voluminous. And an understanding of those rules and regulations is necessary to aggressively pursue these trucking accident cases.
Besides driver inattention, oftentimes what we see here in Colorado is a trucker who has failed to timely apply his or her tire chains and that leads to catastrophic results.
We have a reputation in the community of getting results in the courtroom. In one particular case that we handled, we were able to obtain the driving records and we were able to prove that the driver had been driving for over 12 hours.

It is not uncommon in a trucking accident case for there to be very serious catastrophic injuries. And families are particularly impacted.
